Travelling To Mainland Europe Offers You So Many Possibilities
We often forget how fortunate we are in the UK. There are endless opportunities for us when it comes to travel especially with the whole of main Europe right on our doorstep. It is actually possible for us to reach France in less than an hour now from certain parts of the UK which is amazing. Once on the other side we can then travel to the snowy north of the Mediterranean south; all those different countries with their own unique cultures and scenery. You really could spend the rest of your life travelling around Europe and you would never have an excuse to be bored.
And we dont even need visas to get to all these other countries in the mainland because the UK is a part of the EU. The only thing you need to have in order to be able to visit all these countries is a passport which you must present on entering. We can stay as long as we want if we really take a fancy to a place we can move there and set up home. Some of us feel like we have been born in the wrong place; maybe we are devoted sun worshipers. There is going to be a place in Europe that will suit our own desires.
Belt tightening has become something of the norm for many people especially over the last few years. The great thing about having mainland Europe right next door is that we can travel cheaply. It does not need to cost us a fortune to get somewhere sunny if we are fed up with the rainy weather at home. Europe has everything you could possibly need and the fact that all we need to do to get there is to hop on a boat or take the Chunnel makes it so much easier and affordable.
Today it has become a trend for more people to drive in their car over to their foreign holiday destination. Many people drive down and catch theferry to france. This often saves worrying about driving through the tunnel and worrying about channel tunnel prices. And what better way to get to France for some Calais shopping?
