Airports Together With Smaller Industrial Hangars Should Have Their Security Sorted
Air strip and flight precautions is a critical element of the aviation market because companies have to deal with rising security pressures from causes such as terrorism, health and safety and unlawful action such as burglary and wilful damage. These would seem to be escalating and it is important that the organisations can demonstrate that no one can get to or interfere with an airplane or helicopter at their complex. This can be a very hard job as the complexes are normally large, busy areas with a lot of different operators demanding access to a huge number of different “off limits” areas. They are also normal places of work for large numbers of employees and complacency can be a big security problem too.
One of the problem spots are the normal hangar Doors. These are traditionally produced out of fabric or other lightweight substance and therefore vulnerable material because of the weight issues. These doorwayss have to be able to be constructed in enormous widths and heights in order to accommodate the plane and this has been the key issue when it comes to the build of these doors. Lightweight material has been the only way that the door can be constructed wide enough to deal with the plane and light enough to allow it to open, security concerns however are not handled. These doors are straightforward to break through due to their delicate character and are a cause for concern.
Hydraulics are providing an alternative though. They allow a much heavier material to be used in place of the fabric door, thus giving the greater security afforded by steel, bricks and granite. These doors can be made as wide as the old style roller doors and offer a much better resolution in terms of not only security but looks too. Being able to cover the new version hanger door in and material including glass, brick, stone or wood means that not only does it reproduce the strength of the rest of the hanger but it also looks great too; it is a great answer to door security issues.
